Kingdom Awareness

"For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." Matthew 25:34–40

Mission Statement
We provide a spiritually based preventive outreach ministry within Rockwell and the neighboring ´high–risk´ communities in hopes of building a bridge of trust by focusing in the areas of identification, education and resource development to the chemically dependent and others with additive behaviors.

The Y.E.T. Ministry has been very busy working diligently to meet the needs of those who are in need by partnering with other area churches for volunteers and as a result of the partnering we continue to grow.

Our goal is to provide training and workshops for churches so that they may be blessed and equipped to begin their own ministries to do God´s work. We also have an Annual Health Fair along with other health relate functions to increase the awareness of health care, drug dependency and crime in our communities.

We are very excited about our prison and chemical dependency projects. The Prison Prayer Warriors are corresponding with 10 different prisons; 7 states and 3 federal. The contact teams are going into 4 state prisons to minister the Lord´s word monthly. Presently we are partnering with Hope Haven and McCleod Treatment Center to sponsor individuals, in their in–patient and out patient divisions.

God is in the heart of the YET Ministry and we love doing his work. Praise be to God.
